Pixy and NXP lpc1347

Hello i have just connected Pixy via I2C to my lpc1347 (SCL SDA GND) and after connecting microcontroller to pc and running simple program to blink lpc board led PIXY dont give any sign of having power... should i connect them both by usb to PC?

Hi Dawid,

you will need to power Pixy from an external source, since I2C does not supply power.

so asking just in case (im new to pixy and lpc) if I2C don't supply power there is no chance im gonna burn my pixy or lpc if my code for i2c data flow won't work? :P

Hello Dawid,
If your I2C communication code is "wrong" in any way, it will not damage Pixy. :)
