Documents directory

The documents directory is where PixyMon saves grabbed images as well as its configuration (config.xml). This directory is located in slightly different locations depending on which OS you are using. You can locate this directory or change it by referring to the Document folder parameter in the PixyMon Parameters Pane.

Below are OS-specific notes on where the default location of the Documents directory is located.

Windows

The PixyMon documents directory can be located by choosing the Documents directory under the Libraries folder on the left side of the Explorer window, then choose the PixyMon folder within the Documents directory (see below).

MacOS

The PixyMon documents directory can be located by any of the following methods:

  • Bring up a shell and cd into ~/Documents/PixyMon
  • Click on the Documents folder on left side of Chooser window, then choose the PixyMon folder within the Documents directory.

Linux

The PixyMon documents directory can be located by any of the following methods:

  • Bring up a shell and cd into ~/Documents/PixyMon
  • Click on the Documents folder on the left side of the Nautilus file browser, then choose the PixyMon folder within the Documents directory.
